Baby Raccoon Rescued from Ledge Of Toronto Star Building

A frightened baby raccoon trapped on the ledge of the Toronto Star building has been rescued by Toronto firefighters. The raccoon spent days on the window ledge unable to find its footing back safe on the ground, but city wildlife experts believed a rush rescue could have scared the creature into falling. They had hoped it could find its way down without rescue efforts, however, that wasn’t the case. Thankfully, they were able to extend a lift up to where the terrified animal was curled into a ball and bring it back down to safety. We’re relieved—but probably not as much as the raccoon!
