Like a fine wine, some things just keep getting better with age. These stars show that getting older—whether you’re visibly aging or have been blessed with great genes—can be graceful, stylish, and sexy.

George Clooney

Named People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive, not once, but twice, George Clooney might still hold a place in your heart for his role as hunky and dedicated paediatrician Doug Ross on ER. Clooney’s acting career has come quite some distance since his memorable start on television and his maturation as an actor has led him to star in great films like O Brother, Where Art Thou? Along with the Coen Brother’s latest film, Hail Caesar! While rumours about plastic surgery might be flying around the tabloids, we don’t believe it. Clooney looks great!

Jane Fonda

While Jane Fonda might not be the spitting image of her younger, shag-haired self, she’s still a totally vivacious knockout who’s making an amazing comeback on the new Netflix comedic series Grace and Frankie. On the show, Fonda and co-star Lily Tomlin—two unlikely friends— navigate the next chapter of their lives together after they discover that their husbands are leaving them (for each other). Her red-carpet look at this year’s Golden Globes was just the right mix of playfulness and sophistication.

Helen Mirren

Mirren turned 70 last year (soon to be 71), and looks just as hot as when she first came on the screen. Mirren told the Daily Mail, “I’m a woman that loves make-up and getting dressed up. As I get older, I don’t look as good, but I don’t give a damn.” Um, hello, Helen, have you looked in the mirror lately? Plus, she’s a master actress, winning an Oscar for her performance in The Queen in 2007, and a Tony in 2015 for her portrayal of Elizabeth the II in The Audience on Broadway; accomplishments fit for a queen (and in the later part of her life, no less).

Iman

Iman—supermodel, entrepreneur, and the widow of the late David Bowie—is 60 years old, which is pretty unbelievable, because she looks nowhere near her age. After two decades of modelling, Iman started her own cosmetic line Iman cosmetics, which caters to women with a range of skin tones. The success of the brand comes as no surprise; Iman is beautiful (and so is her skin), so who wouldn’t buy cosmetics with her stamp of approval? She continues to make headlines, discussing the secret to her long-lasting relationship with Bowie, and supporting the next generation of young Somali women entrepreneurs in her industry.

Johnny Depp

It’s hard to tell if it’s Depp’s youthful sense of style that keeps him looking so young, or if he’s secretly drinking from the fountain of youth behind our backs (we wouldn’t be surprised). While he may be on the younger side (he’s only 53), we’re impressed with how he’s been able to hang onto his signature look, but also mature so gracefully. While his acting career may not be impressive for fans of his earlier work like Cry Baby (1990), What’s Eating Gilbert Grape (1983), or Platoon (1986), he’s still a hunk regardless.
