Life’s short. It took pop-up book artist Matthew Reinhart a ghoulish internship at a morgue dissecting deceased people’s body parts to realize that. He decided to ditch his pre-med classes at the age of 23 and give into his true passion: 3D art. Instead of using precise measurements as his guide, the artist’s approach includes a form of trial and error by focusing on how his 3D art actually looks as he goes along. A mound of cardboard and infinite stack of paper later, the final result is nothing short of spectacular. Just see for yourself.
