Canada’s favourite astronaut just released the video for the single “Beyond the Terra” from his new album Space Sessions: Songs From a Tin Can. Recorded entirely during his time on the International Space Station, the album was released in October and includes his famous cover of David Bowie’s “Space Oddity.”

Hadfield describes the single as his “whole life, in a song” and the video appropriately incorporates footage from throughout his life and career. The video came out a day before the 20th anniversary of Hadfield’s first flight into space, which seems like the perfect way to celebrate such an auspicious occasion.
