When Lisa Crawley was diagnosed with a brain tumour in the fall of 2014, she knew that her recovery would be difficult. Before that crucial and challenging day, Lisa saw something both beautiful and inspiring: a couple dancing in their living room. It moved her. Then, when she was on a trip to Spain with her partner, she walked by a boombox playing tango music—she took up tango lessons as soon as she returned back home. The dancing was therapeutic, healing even. Using a DSLR camera to record herself learning to dance, Lisa was able to play it back and improve her form—and ultimately her ability to move forward.
