Rob McLean fell in love with fencing during college. While not a particularly athletic guy, he was a natural at swinging a sword around. After he graduated it became hard to dedicate time to the sport while he was focusing on his family and career, and fencing fell by the wayside.
Three decades later, Rob donned his whites for a joke but couldn’t put them away again. He joined the Peterborough Fencing Club and started regularly sparring with his brother and other members.
Now, six years later, Rob is preparing for his most competitive tournament since returning to the sport.
